The Grain Store Restaurant at Stannergill Distillery
We have restored the old Castletown Mill grain store to become our fabulous new dining space at Stannergill Distillery. You will be welcomed into The Grain Store Restaurant by our friendly team to enjoy beautifully cooked Scottish cuisine in a fabulously atmospheric setting. Our talented head chef will combine the best of local and seasonal produce, to create satisfyingly delicious dishes.

Menus
Daytime Menu
Delicious coffee, speciality teas and cake are available in our Grain Store Restaurant from 10am Mon to Thurs, either side of lunch. On a Friday, Saturday and Sunday enjoy the same range in our Calder Coffee Shop from 10am to 4pm. Please note due to private functions The Calder Coffee Shop will be closed on Fridays 14th, 21st and 28th August.
Our seasonal lunch menu is served in The Grain Store between 11.30am and 3pm and has perfect options for a lighter bite. The menu changes on a Sunday for an all day offering until 7pm.
Evening Menu
Dinner will be served in The Grain Store Restaurant from 6pm until 9pm. Expect a delicious premium offering, served in style by our lovely team.
On a Sunday, enjoy our all day dining menu which includes a Sunday Roast!

Drinks Menu
We have a full drinks menu including our own House Blend whisky, the award winning Rock Rose Gin range, Holy Grass Vodka, and Mapmaker’s Rum.
Along with a fabulous wine selection and a special curation of soft drinks.

From 25th May to end October 2026 we are open 7 days a week. Please note due to private functions The Calder Coffee Shop will be closed on Fridays 14th, 21st and 28th August.
Our Opening Hours are Monday to Sunday, as follows:
- Coffee and cake available from 10am-4pm Friday to Sunday. On a Monday to Thursday it is available either side of lunch.
- Lunch between 11.30am and 3pm
- Dinner served Friday and Saturday to 9pm and Sundays until 7pm. Please refer to ‘Book a Table’ for availability.
Please ensure to note any dietary requirements and allergens when booking your table with us to avoid any disappointment. We try our best to cater to all dietary restrictions when given enough notice!
