Your membership directly supports the £4 million transformation of Castletown Mill—one of Scotland’s most important historic grain mills—into a state-of-the-art craft whisky distillery and world-class visitor experience.

Membership of the 1818 Society also makes an unforgettable gift. Our very first bottling, Stannergill Whisky “The 1818”, will be exclusively reserved for members and individually numbered to match your personal membership. With only 1,818 memberships available, this is the only way to own a piece of our history in its very first release..

A bottle of Stannergill Whisky “The 1818” Single Malt (70cl), aged 5 years, and bearing a bespoke StoneScape label created by designer Lisa Poulsen BDes (Hons). Only 1,818 bottles will ever be made.
